Our chefs brought their Pastry & Cuisine students to visit the GK Organic Farm last Friday! It was good to unplug from the daily routine and reconnect with nature. A farm visit is a great way to teach the students about nutrition and the benefits of eating locally-grown produce. Our students enjoyed the barefoot farm walk where they connected with mother earth and using their hands to plant and harvest produce at the farm. France has always been well known for its influence on arts, history and of course culinary techniques that people now call the basics of cooking.
